Having watched channel nine all day I felt I needed to say something.
I know Breast Cancer is a horrible horrible disease and I feel for anyone who is experiencing or has a loved one going through having breast cancer.
BUT there are so many other cancers out there that need the same amount of attention and fund that breast cancer does.
I am not trying to take anything away from breast cancer, just make people a little more aware that there are a whole number of cancers out there. I've listed some of them. All should have the same awareness, I my opinion.
Anal cancer
Asbestos & lung disease (Including mesothelioma)
Bile duct cancer
Bladder cancer
Bone cancer
Bowel cancer
Brain & spinal cord tumours
Breast cancer
Carcinoid tumours (Neuroendocrine tumours)
Cervical cancer
Connective tissue cancer
Endocrine cancer
Eye cancer
Gall bladder cancer
Kaposi's sarcoma
Kidney cancer
Leukaemia
Liver cancer
Lung cancer
Lymphoma (non-Hodgkin and Hodgkin)
Melanoma
Mesothelioma
Mouth, nose & throat cancers
Multiple myeloma
Oesophagus cancer
Ovarian cancer
Pancreatic cancer
Penis cancer
Peritoneal cancer
Prostate cancer
Skin cancers (non-melanoma)
Soft tissue cancers
Spinal tumours
Stomach & oesophageal cancer
Testicular cancer
Thymus cancer
Uterine cancer (Cancer of the uterus)
Vaginal cancer
Vulval cancer
These are only some of them and don't forget that there is leukemia and so many other terminal diseases. So try to support all of them. Spread the word on them all, you never know, it might help one day!!!

I know this so well. Daddy died of kidney cancer-next time you see a fundraiser for that, die of shock because I know I will. My best friend's dad just died of lung cancer.
I know this pain. I've felt this pain. And if either mine or my friend's dad had had breast cancer, something would be seriously wrong.

I know how you both feel, my mother has lung cancer. As it is on her windpipe they can not operate. It is horrible watching someone you love die. But we stay positive and I am trying to raise awareness not only for lung cancer but for all cancers, as they are all as bad and horrible as each other.
